Overview

We\'re looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team working on water infrastructure projects across Hampshire and the wider South East. You\'ll support cost control, procurement, and contract management on live framework works. This is a hands-on role in a growing business with a stable workload and solid progression opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and managing tender documents, Bills of Quantities, and subcontractor packages.
  • Support cost monitoring, budget tracking, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work with site teams to value work in progress, issue applications for payment, and manage variations and change control.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure contractual compliance and timely delivery.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the utilities / civil engineering sector, ideally including water infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with NEC, JCT, or other standard contract forms.
  • Strong cost awareness, analytical skills, and ability to interpret site drawings & specifications.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Degree, HNC / HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification preferable.
