Job summary

CSR (NI) LIMITED in Dungannon is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. You will take commercial responsibility for 1-2 NI-based projects, working closely with a Commercial Manager in a hybrid setup.

The role covers cost planning, forecasting and procurement strategy, with a focus on value engineering and risk management. The firm supports CPD towards Chartered status and offers a competitive salary, healthcare, pension and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 3–4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally contracting.
• Experience on construction projects valued over £2 million.
• Strong commercial awareness and proactive problem solving.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs across new-build developments and structures.
• Undertake cost planning, forecasting and cost analysis.
• Advise on procurement and commercial strategies.
• Participate in design team meetings and provide buildability input.
• Support feasibility studies and help define client requirements.
• Identify and manage project risks while delivering value-engineering solutions.

An established and progressive Building Contractor based in Dungannon area is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team.

Offering hybrid working (up to 1 days per week from home), this is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of NI based construction projects while developing your career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Working closely with an experienced Commercial Manager, you will take commercial responsibility for 1-2 projects at a time, gaining exposure to both pre-construction and project delivery stages.

Key responsibilities

• Managing project costs across a variety of new-build developments and structures
• Undertaking cost planning, forecasting, and cost analysis
• Advising on procurement and commercial strategies
• Participating in design team meetings and providing buildability input
• Supporting feasibility studies and helping define client requirements
• Identifying and managing project risks while delivering value-engineering solutions
• Monitoring project budgets and implementing effective cost-control measures
• Providing commercial and contractual advice, including the assessment of claims

About You

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role ideally contracting
• Experience working on construction projects valued in excess of £2 million
• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
