Job summary

CSR (NI) LIMITED, a main contractor, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead two major projects in the region. The role involves a full-time Project QS on-site at each project and mentoring junior staff.

The successful candidate will bring strong QS experience in construction/engineering, a QS degree, and excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong prior experience in Quantity Surveying roles in construction/engineering
• Degree level education within Quantity Surveying
• 2–3 years' Senior QS experience on commercial/residential projects
• Stakeholder management and relationship building
• Legal awareness and experience in assessing contract documents
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage two projects valued at approximately £35M and £20M

Senior Quantity Surveyor | Main Contractor |

CSR is recruiting on behalf a Main Contractor who are operating throughout Ireland.

They are seeking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Senior QS to manage 2 projects circa £35M & £20M in value.

You will have a full-time Project QS based in each project and provide guidance/ and mentorship to junior staff members.

The successful QS will have:

• Strong prior experience in Quantity Surveying roles in a Construction/Engineering business
• Degree level education within Quantity Surveying
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working as a Senior QS on commercial/ residential projects.
• Ability to demonstrate building strong working relationships & stakeholder management
• Good level of legal awareness and competence in assessing Contract Documents and contract requirements
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good oral & written communication skills
