MPA Recruitment is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor in County Tyrone to lead the commercial function across major construction and civil engineering projects. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee commercial performance from tender through final account and mentor a high-performing team.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
  • Significant experience at Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor level.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of construction contracts and contract law.
  • Experience managing variations, claims, valuations and final accounts.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong IT and commercial software proficiency.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Civil engineering experience would be highly advantageous.

Our client, a highly respected and growing construction and civil engineering contractor, is seeking an ambitious Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their senior commercial team. The Role

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a commercially focused leader with a proven track record in delivering successful project outcomes within a contracting environment.

Essential Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
  • Significant experience operating at Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor level.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of construction contracts and contract law.
  • Experience managing variations, claims, valuations and final accounts.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong IT and commercial software proficiency.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Civil engineering experience would be highly advantageous.
