Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for projects in Suffolk up to £5m, working as the stand-alone surveyor with support from a Commercial Manager.

The role involves managing procurement-to-final accounting, site supervision of subcontractors, CVRs, drawing reviews, and close collaboration with external clients. You will need a construction-related degree and at least five years' experience on similar projects.

• Degree in a construction related subject.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on projects.
• Competent in managing subcontractor packages and payments.

Quantity Surveyor for main contractor based in Suffolk with projects across industrial, education and leisure

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

Your role as Quantity Surveyor will be to work on the above names projects up to £5m as the stand alone surveyor with support from your Commercial manager. Projects all within a reasonable commute of the companies office near Bury St Edmunds.

You will be responsible for but not limited to; Managing packages from procurement through to final accounting. Working with the team to ensure subcontractors are managed on site, CVRs, reviewing drawings and working collaboratively with the external clients.

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor

The company are looking for a candidate who can come in and hit the ground running, who is happy working in a small business from the office with site visits.

• Degree in a construction related subject


• Minimum of 5 years experience on projects


• Competent in managing subcontractor packages and payments
