Job summary

Hawkes Resourcing Group in Brentwood, Essex, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for decorating and refurbishment projects across London & Home Counties. You will manage the commercial delivery, valuations, cost reports and subcontractor payments to ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule.

The role offers a salary of £65,000–£72,000 plus a comprehensive package including a company car or car allowance, pension, annual leave, and clear opportunities for progression within a growing

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Decorating, painting, refurbishment or specialist subcontractor experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of JCT contracts.
• Ability to manage several live projects simultaneously.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

A well‑established and growing decorating contractor based in Brentwood is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

Working across London and the Home Counties, you'll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple decorating and refurbishment projects across sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public sector.
