Job summary

OUTSOURCE CONSTRUCTION LTD, based in Watford, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for commercial interiors. You will manage multiple interior projects, prepare valuations, monitor budgets, and support teams with commercial and contractual guidance.

The role requires 3–4 years of subcontractor experience in internal finishes, strong contract knowledge, and excellent negotiation and communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position in Watford with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years' experience with subcontractors in internal finishes.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction to final account.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of multiple commercial interior projects.
• Prepare and submit accurate valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Procure subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiation of terms and pricing.
• Assess and manage variations, change orders, and contractual claims.
• Produce monthly cost reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Support project delivery teams with commercial and contractual advice.

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to leading commercial interiors contractor delivering high-quality projects across London & South East. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional to play a key role in managing project finances, maximising profitability, and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of multiple commercial interior projects.
