Job summary

Reinforced Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our external façades division in Billericay, delivering commercial leadership on up to five projects.

You will manage costs, valuations, variations and final accounts, review contracts, support procurement and produce accurate reports, while coordinating with clients, contractors and site teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor, preferably in external façades.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
• Ability to manage up to five projects simultaneously.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
• Proactive and well-organised approach.
• Ability to work with office-based and site teams.

Quantity Surveyor - External Façades

Salary: up to £60,000 + pension, bonus and travel expenses

Location: Billericay

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing external façades business. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional who can confidently manage multiple projects.

The role

You will oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of up to five façade projects at a time, working closely with clients, contractors, site teams and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing project costs, budgets and commercial performance
• Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts
• Reviewing and administering contracts
• Monitoring project risks, costs and profitability
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor management
• Producing accurate commercial reports
• Attending site visits and project meetings
• Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

• Quantity Surveying experience, ideally within external façades
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts
• The ability to manage up to five projects simultaneously
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and communication skills
• A proactive and well-organised approach
• The ability to work effectively with office-based and site teams
