Skilled Careers seeks a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to join its specialist façade contracting team in the UK. You will own the commercial performance of projects, from early procurement through final account, liaising with operations, clients, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
You will manage costs, budgets and forecasts, prepare valuations and final accounts, and oversee subcontractor procurement and payments.

The business delivers a wide range of façade projects across the UK, covering recladding, external wall insulation (EWI), façade refurbishment and new-build schemes. The work ranges from high-rise external refurbishment and building safety remediation through to large-scale residential retrofit and new-build developments. This is an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to take genuine commercial ownership of projects within a specialist environment, working closely with operations, clients, subcontractors and supply chain partners.

We're looking for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable taking responsibility for project commercial performance.
You'll ideally have:
You’ll be working on specialist façade projects where commercial decisions genuinely matter, alongside experienced operational and technical teams. The business has built a strong reputation within the façade sector and has extensive experience across both new-build and refurbishment markets, including complex recladding and building safety projects. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your experience across technically challenging projects while taking real ownership of the commercial side of delivery.
