Job summary

NatWest Group is seeking a Quality and Testing Manager to lead quality strategy and testing across the programme and platform. You will drive robust test plans, ensure quality across run and change activities, and collaborate with agile teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality customer outcomes.

The role emphasizes end-to-end test management, defect prioritisation and building a test function from scratch, with hybrid work combining home and weekly office presence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality strategy, planning and testing design.
• Experience across functional and non-functional testing incl. system, load and security.
• Experience in matrix management across teams and partners.
• Ability to translate business outcomes into quality initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the quality strategy, plan and execution across multiple feature teams.
• Ensure end-to-end test management including risk, issues, governance and lessons learned.
• Oversee defects prioritisation and timely resolution.
• Collaborate with Agile teams and stakeholders to improve quality outcomes.
• Build and scale a test function, potentially with integration of partner firms.
