Job summary

BNP Paribas Personal Finance Group is seeking a Test Manager to define, lead and govern testing activities across projects and releases. You will own the end-to-end test approach, drive automation, manage defects and provide clear leadership across business and technology teams.

You will establish test plans, metrics and governance, coordinating with delivery milestones, while promoting automation-first thinking and continuous improvement of testing processes.

Qualifications

• ISTQB certified or equivalent experience desirable.
• Proven experience managing testing activity across projects in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Experience of test planning, estimation, resource coordination, stakeholder reporting and governance forums.
• Strong experience defining and managing test automation strategies with measurable benefits.
• Experience integrating automated tests into delivery pipelines and using automation reporting to support release decisions.
• Strong working knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS or JIRA.
• Experience of using SQL or a sound understanding of database concepts to support analysis, investigation and test preparation.

Responsibilities

• Define, lead and govern testing activity across projects, releases and change initiatives.
• Oversee test planning, estimation, resourcing and scheduling to align with milestones.
• Define automation approach and ensure integration with the delivery lifecycle.
• Provide clear test status reporting, dashboards and risk updates for stakeholders.
• Lead defect management, triage, escalation and resolution tracking.
• Promote modern testing tools and automation frameworks to improve quality and efficiency.
• Coach and mentor the testing team to raise capability and consistency.
