Job Opportunity: Food Industry Technologist

My client, a leading service provider to the Food Manufacturing industry, is seeking a bright and eager Technologist to join their site-based technical services team.

This position is within commuting distance of Huntingdon and offers a great opportunity for those looking to broaden their horizons within the food industry. The role reports to the Technical Manager.

The Role:
  1. Customer and Supplier Interaction: Management of customer complaints and investigations into supplier non-conformances.
  2. Technical Service Visits: Visiting suppliers and customers on-site to address quality issues.
  3. Contributing to BRC Audits.
  4. Lab Work: Preparing samples and maintaining the laboratory environment.
The Candidate:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Quality/Technical within the FMCG industry.
  • Willingness to learn and flexibility to develop within the working environment.
  • Comfortable liaising face-to-face with customers.
  • Experience working with BRC standards.
What’s on offer:
  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
  • Site-based role
  • Working hours: 9am-5:15pm (flexible)
