Rubicon Consulting is seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join our Midlands production team. The role focuses on inspecting PCBs and electrical components to ensure they meet quality standards before installation and to verify performance post-installation.

You will work closely with production and engineering, use various measurement tools, document findings, and drive corrective actions. A proven track record in electronics manufacturing and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in electronics/manufacturing with PCBs.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail and a thorough approach to quality checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of PCBs and electrical components on the production line before installation.
• Verify components are free from damage, defects and meet technical specifications.
• Perform quality checks after installation to ensure functionality and compliance.
• Document and report quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards.
• Utilize measurement tools to assess product quality accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace in line with health and safety regulations.
