Are you passionate about quality? An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join a Global leading Manufacturer based in East Yorkshire. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary, free on-site parking and flexible hours with an early finish on a Friday.

As a Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
  • Perform inspection activities across mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products.
  • Ensure internal procedures, customer specifications, and relevant industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage inspection documentation to support traceability and compliance.
  • Identify non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Communicate inspection findings clearly, both verbally and in written reports.
The successful Quality Inspector will have
  • Technical understanding and hands‑on experience in mechanical discipline
  • Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements (internal and external).
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in documentation control.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Previous experience in a quality or inspection role within manufacturing is highly desirable.

This role offers a competitive salary and working hours are Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday and the business is commutable from Scarborough, Driffield, Bridlington and surrounding areas.
