As a Quality Systems Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our Quality Management System (QMS) is up-to-date, consistent, and aligned with industry standards and customer requirements. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver top-quality products and maintain strong relationships with our customers and stakeholders.

The role can be based at any of our Valeo Foods UK sites.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain and evolve the central Quality Management System (QMS) to meet customer and BRC requirements.
2. Support site teams in implementing and complying with the QMS, customer policies, and regulations.
3. Manage documentation processes and ensure the issuance of quality-related policies.
4. Conduct regular retailer gap analyses and update the QMS accordingly.
5. Standardize QMS documents across manufacturing sites for consistency.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.
7. Support site teams during customer visits and audits, ensuring compliance.
8. Provide guidance on customer standards and requirements.
9. Conduct internal audits and support teams with non-conformances.
10. Identify opportunities to reduce paperwork and promote a paper-free environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Knowledge:

1. Degree or equivalent in Food Science or related discipline, or relevant experience with QMS and retailer systems.
2. Experience in FMCG or similar environment.
3. Level 3 food safety certification.
4. Intimate knowledge of customer codes of practice and legal requirements, with experience in conducting gap analyses.
5. Full UK driving license.
