Main purpose of the role: To undertake the role of the Quality Officer is to carry out a wide range of quality assurance, audit, and compliance tasks to ensure all MCJA services deliver high standards of quality provision and are compliant, safe, and in line with key performance indicators for both MCJA commissioned contracts and current CQC Regulatory requirements, in order to safeguard customers, staff, and MCJA as a business.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Quality Assurance and Auditing: Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments to verify that all services meet internal quality benchmarks and external regulatory standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with current CQC (Care Quality Commission) regulations, safeguarding both service users and staff.
  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to MCJA commissioned contracts, ensuring that service delivery aligns with established objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks within services and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, creating a safe environment for both customers and employees.
  • Staff Training and Support: Develop and provide training programs for staff to foster a culture of compliance and quality assurance throughout the organization.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, and assessments, and prepare reports for management to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with various stakeholders, including management and staff, to promote best practices and enhance service quality.
  • Maintain good line management: Have oversight of the responsibilities of those reporting into the Compliance Manager.
