Job summary

Pailton Engineering Limited in the West Midlands is seeking a Quality Manager for an expanding manufacturing business. You will report to the Head of Engineering and lead quality initiatives across new product launches.

The role requires strong Quality Management experience, ISO 9001 auditing, APQP/PPAP, FMEA, and the ability to run internal, supplier and customer audits from planning through close-out.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Management within manufacturing.
• Auditing experience to ISO 9001.
• Practical APQP and PPAP experience.
• FMEA, control plans and work instructions familiarity.
• Ability to manage internal, supplier and customer audits end-to-end.
• Ownership of the QMS for new project launches.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal, supplier and customer audits from planning to close-out.
• Maintain and improve the QMS across new project launches.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance throughout manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and teams to drive quality improvements.
