Energy Jobline CVL seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality & Inspection department for an aerospace precision engineering manufacturer in Southend-on-Sea. You will own the AS9100 QMS, mentor the inspection team, and act as signatory for product release.

The role requires hands-on FAIR/LAIR experience, strong AS9100/ISO9100 knowledge, and a proven leadership background in inspection. A continuous improvement mindset is essential, with a 4-day week and a competitive package

Qualifikationen

• Proven aerospace sector experience (essential).
• Strong working knowledge of AS9100/ISO9100.
• Hands-on FAIR/LAIR experience.
• Proven leadership/supervisory background in inspection/quality.
• Qualified auditor.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.

Aufgaben

• Manage and maintain the AS9100 QMS.
• Lead and mentor the Inspection team.
• Create/approve FAIR/LAIR documentation using VisualFAIR.
• Conduct internal/external AS9100 audits.
• Act as Approved Signatory for product release.
• Oversee calibration and qualification processes.
• Drive zero-defect/continuous improvement initiatives and serve as primary contact for customer quality matters.

Location: Southend-on-Sea

Hours: 37 hrs/wk (Monday to Thursday, Fridays off!)
