Job summary

CV Technical Limited in Poole, Dorset seeks a Quality Manager / Lead Inspector to own the quality function across Aerospace, Defence and Nuclear sectors. This hands-on leadership role combines management of the quality team with inspection, metrology and continuous improvement activities.

You will maintain AS9100 / ISO9001 systems, run internal and supplier audits, manage NCRs and 8D investigations, and drive a culture of quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in precision engineering/manufacturing quality control.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001.
• Experience in Aerospace/Defence/Nuclear desirable.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Strong metrology/CMM experience.
• Experience with NCRs, 8D and root cause analysis.
• Previous leadership or team-leading experience.

Quality Manager / Lead Inspector

Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

Type: Permanent, Full-time

A well-established precision engineering business is looking for an experienced Quality Manager / Lead Inspector to take ownership of its quality function, supporting customers across the Aerospace, Defence and Nuclear sectors.

This is a hands-on leadership role, managing the Quality function while remaining involved in inspection, metrology and continuous improvement.
