Job summary

RETAIND Ltd in Walsall, West Midlands, is seeking an experienced, hands-on Quality Manager to lead its quality function, strengthen manufacturing standards and drive improvements across the operation.

You will own the ISO 9001 QMS, supervise a small team of inspectors, and partner with production and management to deliver corrective actions, audits and robust quality procedures for long-term success on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Extensive quality experience in manufacturing with leadership.
• Hands-on approach to shop floor quality.
• Experience maintaining ISO 9001 QMS and external audits.
• Experience supervising small quality teams.
• Evidence of root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Own the ISO 9001 QMS and drive improvements.
• Plan and lead internal and certification audits.
• Lead and develop the quality inspectors.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality concerns.
• Maintain product traceability and calibration controls.
• Investigate non-conformances and supplier issues.
• Introduce new inspection methods and process improvements.
• Monitor quality performance and report trends.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and auditors.
