Cranleigh STEM in Telford is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to own the Quality function on the shop floor, leading a small team and partnering with Production and Sales to drive quality standards and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance, audits, problem-solving, and supplier/customer QA, with a 40-hour week, some flexibility, and Fridays finish early.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading quality teams in manufacturing with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Proven problem-solving with root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Hands-on management style on the shop floor and strong collaboration with production.

Aufgaben

• Manage and improve the Quality Management System to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Lead and develop the Quality team and work closely with Production and Sales.
• Manage audits (internal, external and customer) and drive CAPA.
• Investigate non-conformances, perform root-cause analysis and implement actions.
• Oversee calibration, document control and KPI reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes and QA activities.
