This is a varied and influential position, requiring someone who is both strategically minded and hands‑on, with the ability to identify risks, implement improvements and ensure products and processes meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, manage and continually improve the organisation's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Review, develop and update company processes and procedures to ensure they remain current and aligned with business quality objectives.
  • Develop and manage the internal audit schedule, conducting and authorising audits and training other employees in audit processes.

  • Select appropriate conformity assessment modules to meet certification and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate quality risks, implementing corrective and preventative actions to minimise product failures and maintain product safety.
  • Manage customer complaints, non‑conformances and corrective action processes, ensuring issues are investigated and resolved effectively.
  • Analyse quality data and performance metrics, producing clear reports and KPIs for senior management.
  • Work closely with operational and engineering teams to achieve quality objectives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide quality training and guidance to managers and employees across the organisation.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance at the head office, working alongside external consultants and internal management to ensure legal requirements are met.
  • Maintain and develop environmental management systems, supporting the organisation's commitment to reducing environmental impact and achieving ISO 14001 standards.

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a Quality Manager or similar senior quality position.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of Quality Management Systems and relevant industry standards, particularly ISO 9001.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and produce meaningful reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels of an organisation.
