Job Opportunity: Quality Manager

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, Rotherham, permanent, early finish Friday, company activities, 33 days holiday inc bank holidays, private healthcare, life insurance, pension, free parking.

Due to continuous growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to join a well-established Aerospace company in the Rotherham S60 area. Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities will include:

1. Identify quality issues within the manufacturing process and create plans to reduce non-conformances.
2. Review scrap rates, quality costs, and KPIs, providing improvement plans.
3. Implement statistical process control techniques to monitor and improve process performance.
4. Manage the quality team, conducting one-to-ones, appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
5. Manage NCRs and perform root cause analysis using problem-solving methods.
6. Handle FAIRs, PPAP, FMEA's, FPD, and serve as the point of contact for all customer quality concerns.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An internal Auditor qualification (ISO9001).
• A degree or equivalent in quality management.
• Experience with quality assurance and audits.
• Previous experience in the aerospace industry.
• Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes.

This role is suitable for candidates who have worked as a Quality Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Lead, or Inspection Manager within manufacturing, engineering, or machining environments. The successful applicant will receive a comprehensive benefits package including:

• Salary up to £40,000, depending on experience.
• Work hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm.
