Employment Solutions Ltd in Rochdale is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the development and continuous improvement of an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system within a precision engineering and manufacturing environment.

You will drive quality performance, supplier assurance and regulatory compliance while ensuring products meet customer and industry standards. Travel to suppliers/customers across the UK may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Quality Manager in Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Strong ISO 9001 QMS and auditing background.
• Willingness to travel to suppliers/customers across the UK and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve ISO 9001:2015 QMS through audits and compliance.
• Oversee quality across manufacturing, inspection, testing and supplier quality.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for issues.
• Develop the quality team and collaborate with other departments.
• Manage supplier quality programs and conformance reviews.

Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of an ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System within a precision engineering and manufacturing environment. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive quality performance, supplier assurance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement while ensuring products consistently meet customer, industry and business standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing compliance through internal, external and customer audits.
• Manage all aspects of quality across manufacturing, inspection, testing, supplier quality and customer complaints, implementing robust root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead, develop and support the Quality team while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing and other departments to drive quality performance.
• Manage supplier quality activities, including supplier audits, performance management, new supplier approvals and technical conformance reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies, PFMEA, MSA, Pareto analysis and data-driven investigations while supporting the development of an integrated management system.

Requirements

• Proven experienced as a Quality Manager within Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Strong QMS & Auditing experience to ISO 9001
• Willingness to travel occasionally when needed to suppliers and customers, across the UK and Internationally.
• Ability to interpret Engineering drawings.

Location: Rochdale

Permanent Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Mon – Fri

Salary: £ Competitive (dependent on experience)
