Technical Network Recruitment seeks an experienced Quality Manager for a large manufacturing group in Milton Keynes. Lead a high-volume manufacturing quality team, address customer concerns, and drive continuous improvement in quality systems.

The role requires ISO9001 expertise, strong leadership, and use of 8D/Lean Six Sigma tools. Excellent communication with customers and cross-functional teams is essential for delivering strategic quality improvements.

Qualifications

• HNC or degree in a technical subject or equivalent professional qualification
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001 quality systems
• Excellent communicator with customers and internal stakeholders
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills (8D, MSA, 5Why)
• Lean Six Sigma tools knowledge; Green Belt desirable
• Proven leadership to coach and develop the team

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quality professionals in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• First point of contact for all external and internal customer concerns

Job Description:

• Lead a team of Quality professionals in a high volume manufacturing environment
• First point of contact for all external and internal customer concerns
• Instigation of 8D activity following customer concern and delegation of work to team thereafter
• Audit systems and processes to ISO9001 standard
• Utilise data of quality defects to improve quality processes
• Identify area for quality improvements
• Utilisation of six sigma/ lean tools to increase efficiencies and improve site quality
• Maintain and develop the QMS and quality structure

Experience:

• HNC/ Degree in a technical subject or equivalent professional level qualification
• Excellent knowledge of quality systems with particular focus on ISO9001
• Strong communicator internally and in liaison with demanding customers
• Strong understanding of Route Cause Analysis and structured problem solving tools - 8D, MSA, 5Why
• Excellent grasp of lean six sigma tools - green belt certification desirable
• Demonstrate leadership ability to coach and build self confidence in team

You will already be a competent Quality professional with proven management experience within a high volume manufacturing environment.
