Job summary

Crystal Care Collection is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to support our Homes in delivering the highest standards of care and service. You will lead quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement efforts across the South West, fostering a culture of excellence and compassionate care.

You will oversee audits, implement quality plans, and support Care Teams to ensure personalised, safe, and effective care while maintaining governance and policies across sites.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Care Management role.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Care standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to analyse data and implement improvement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Care homes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of Care homes to assess care quality and compliance.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans based on audit findings and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare for and manage external inspections from regulatory bodies, ensuring all documentation and processes are up to date.
  • Monitor the standard of Care provided to Residents, ensuring it meets high levels of quality and compassion.
  • Oversee the implementation of personalised Care plans and ensure regular reviews.
  • Address any Care-related issues promptly and effectively, involving Residents and families as necessary.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Care Home teams to ensure best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead investigations into incidents or complaints and maintain records of QA activities.

The Role:

Due to continued growth across the South West, we are on the look out for another Regional Quality Manager to support our Homes in ensuring the highest standards of Care and service are always delivered. This role is crucial in maintaining regulatory compliance, implementing quality assurance measures, and driving continuous improvement in Care practices. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence and compassion, ensuring that all Residents receive personalised, safe, and effective care. By leading and supporting the Care Teams, you will play a key role in enhancing the overall well-being and quality of life for Residents, while upholding the reputation and operational standards of Crystal Care Collection and ensuring policies, procedures and governance pathways are always followed.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Ensure all Care homes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of Care homes to assess care quality and compliance.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans based on audit findings and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare for and manage external inspections from regulatory bodies, ensuring all documentation and processes are up to date.
Resident Care:
  • Monitor the standard of Care provided to Residents, ensuring it meets the highest levels of quality and compassion.
  • Oversee the implementation of personalised Care plans and ensure they are regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Address any Care-related issues promptly and effectively, involving Residents and their Families as necessary.
Staff Training and Development:
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Care Home teams to ensure they are knowledgeable and skilled in best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the professional development of Care teams through ongoing training, mentorship, and performance reviews.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the Care teams.
Policy and Procedure Development:
  • Develop, review, and update Care and quality policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate policy changes and updates to all relevant team members and ensure proper implementation.
  • Identify potential risks related to Care quality and safety and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Lead investigations into any incidents or complaints, ensuring they are resolved effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, complaints, and quality assurance activities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as a point of contact for Residents, Families, and external stakeholders regarding Care quality issues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and other external partners to enhance Care quality.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Care Management role (preferably within a Care Home or similar environment)
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance is essential
  • Strong knowledge of Care standards and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to analyse data and implement improvement strategies
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office
Hours of work:

Your hours of work will be 09.00 – 17.00, Monday to Friday with an element of flexibility as and when required. This will equate to 40 hours per week in total.

This is a hybrid role supporting our Homes across the South West of England. You would be expected to reliably commute as and when required, including the potential to stay overnight.
