The ideal candidate would be located in/around Devon. The role involves coordinating staff training across the organisation, delivering mandatory and bespoke sessions, and supporting General

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTTLS) / equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering training in a Care Home setting.
  • Be prepared to travel to other Homes outside of your own portfolio if required.
  • Caring environment (preferably within care of older people).
  • Committed to a structured approach to training and development of staff.
  • Understanding of the Health & Social Care Act and Health & Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

  • To co-ordinate and ensure staff training is carried out to the required level across the organisation, inclusive of the senior management team.
  • Planning, implementing and delivering mandatory, statutory and other identified bespoke training to all team members.
  • Ensure that the regulatory statistics for training are maintained as per company policy and KPI’s.
  • Instill a positive and proactive culture throughout all aspects of training from induction and beyond.
  • Provide support and guidance to the General Managers.

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Trainer to support our homes across the South West of England. Job Context

The role requires effective communication with exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to deliver innovative and unique training to capture the interests of every learner and the ability to work as part of the team is vital. Team members must be aligned with and support the company’s values, as well as influencing and motivating skills.

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for care (first and foremost) and those who are keen to be the best in the sector. You will work as part of a dynamic team, ensuring our homes adhere to the necessary requirements and procedures at all times.

Person Specification
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTTLS) / equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering training in a Care Home setting

Hours of work:

Your hours of work will be 09.00 - 17.00, Monday to Friday with an element of flexibility as and when required. This will equate to 40 hours per week in total, offering £45,000 per annum.
