Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for Plymouth, commutable from Tavistock, Yelverton, Ivybridge and Saltash. Salary up to £65,000 DOE plus bonus, life insurance and pension, plus 33 days holiday and early finish on Fridays.

The successful candidate will lead a quality team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, drive continuous improvement, manage customer complaints and 8D investigations, and support NPI and PPAP activities.

Qualifications

• HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
• Experience managing and developing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and processes (NPI, PPAP, etc.).
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt desirable but not essential.

Overview

Quality Manager — Plymouth, commutable from Yelverton, Tavistock, Ivybridge, Saltash

Up to £65,000 per annum DOE + Bonus + Life Insurance + Pension. 33 days holiday + Early Finish on Friday.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join a market-leading, international manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, driving quality, continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Manage customer complaints and lead 8D investigations.
• Manage KPIs and support New Production Introduction (NPI) activities.

Salary range: £55,000.00–£65,000.00 per annum, dependant on experience. Bonus scheme, company pension (matched up to 5%), life insurance (3x), 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus holiday purchasing scheme.

Requirements / The Person
