Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for a Plymouth-based role. The position entails leading a quality team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, driving improvements and solving problems to ensure the highest standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with quality processes in manufacturing/engineering, strong leadership and a track record of managing customer complaints and KPIs.

Quality Manager – Plymouth, commutable from Yelverton, Tavistock, Ivybridge, Saltash

Up to £65,000 per annum DOE, bonus, life insurance, pension, 33 days holiday, early finish on Friday

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager looking for a new role working for a market-leading, international company. The company is a well-established, highly revered manufacturing company in the Plymouth area with sites across the world that are renowned for the quality of their products and for being a leading and progressive employer in the area. Due to growth, we are currently looking for a Quality Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have proven management experience with strong knowledge of quality processes within a manufacturing/engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team within a fast paced manufacturing environment, driving quality, continuous improvement and problem solving. Manage customer complaints, lead 8D investigations, manage KPIs, support new production introduction (NPI) activities.
• £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Bonus scheme, company pension matched up to 5%, 3x life insurance, 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus holiday purchasing scheme.

Qualifications

• HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
• Experience managing and developing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and processes (NPI, PPAP etc).
• Six Sigma Green or Black belt desirable but not essential.
