An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join our growing team based in Bolton, United Kingdom. This is a local role for this office.

Reporting to the Business Manager, the mission of the role is to support quality based decisions and actions of the senior management team both within and outside of product company Bolton through the conversion of management system data from an extensive range of sources into meaningful business information.
To continually improve management systems at the Bolton site by identifying issues and working proactively within local and global teams to improve processes. To ensure that processes align with Atlas Copco global requirements, international standards and customer requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Skills / Experience
• Must be a good communicator and have excellent fluency in spoken and written English with the ability to explain complex issues in non-technical language
• Coaching, listening and questioning skills with an open mind to consider other people’s views when developing solutions
• Demonstrates strong self-awareness and self-regulation especially under times of pressure
• Customer, commercial awareness (preferred)
• High levels of self-motivation with the ability to manage projects and tasks through to completion
• Shows empathy when dealing with people who may be working in difficult situations
• Strong social skills with the ability to positively motivate others
• Creative, Tenacious, Out of the box thinker, Can-do attitude, Professional, Communicator at all levels, Motivated, Ambitious, Self-starter, Positive outlook, Excellent team engagement
• Current Member of Chartered Quality Institute (preferred)
• Able to demonstrate that they have remained technically competent through continued professional development
• A demonstrable track record of continuous improvement across various business functions
• At least five years recent experience in a Quality position within an ISO 9001, AS9100 or TS16949 certified organisation.
