Oliver Valves Ltd. in Knutsford is seeking a Quality & Maintenance Team Leader to oversee calibration and maintenance activities. You will allocate work, coordinate planned and reactive tasks, and manage internal and subcontracted calibration to ensure assets stay within spec.

You will lead a small team, maintain records, monitor KPIs, and drive improvements while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards. The role is based on-site in Knutsford with regular hours.

• Monitor equipment reliability and availability to reduce breakdowns and improve performance.
• Set, monitor and review maintenance and calibration KPIs using performance data.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, calibration and asset records.
• Coordinate approved subcontractors and work with production, inspection and quality teams.
• Manage day-to-day team administration including holidays, absences and overtime.
• Ensure all activities comply with procedures, quality standards and HSE requirements.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am till 5pm. 40 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Allocate and prioritise work for the QA Technician and Maintenance Technician.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption.
• Manage internal and subcontracted calibration activities to ensure equipment remains within its required calibration period.
• Maintain the asset register and identify inspection, calibration, maintenance and legislative requirements for new equipment.
• Monitor equipment reliability and availability, identifying opportunities to reduce breakdowns and improve performance.
• Set, monitor and review maintenance and calibration KPIs, using performance data to drive improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, calibration and asset records.
• Coordinate approved subcontractors and work closely with production, inspection and quality teams.
• Manage day-to‑day team administration, including holidays, absence records, return-to-work interviews and justified overtime requirements.
• Ensure all activities comply with company procedures, quality standards and Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
