Job summary

Workforce Staffing in Worcester is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team and help maintain exacting standards for materials, in-process items and finished products.

You will read engineering drawings (GD&T), use Vernier calipers, micrometers, CMMs and FARO equipment, and collaborate with production to resolve issues in real-time while upholding ISO 9001 compliance and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in quality assurance in manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings, including GD&T.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001; ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 a plus.
• Internal auditor certification (ISO 9001) preferred.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• Experience with HVAC or control systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, in-process items, and finished products to exacting standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T, with precision.
• Use high-tech measurement tools (Vernier calipers, micrometers, CMMs, FARO) to ensure quality is spot-on.
• Document and communicate inspection results, flagging any issues for action.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues in real-time.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to boost quality and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• Follow health & safety protocols to keep the workplace safe.
