Job summary

PSM Recruitment is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure components meet customer specifications and quality standards. You will move across the company’s three quality areas to gain broad QC knowledge and ensure products are inspected at key stages.

You will verify dimensions, record non-conformances, and contribute to 8D investigations, while assisting with calibration and maintaining a safe, clean working area.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments
• Calibration of equipment and gauges
• Strong maths understanding
• Attention to detail
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Strong problem solving ability

Responsibilities

• Ensure components produced meet highest quality and customer specifications
• Verify dimensions and inspect goods inwards and outgoing items
• Record non-conforming products and identify causes
• Create plans to improve product quality and participate in 8D investigations
• Assist with calibration of company equipment
• Maintain health and safety and cleanliness in the area
• Support customers and visitors as required
