Job summary

HR CAREERS & NATIONWIDE RECRUITMENT SERVICE is hiring a Quality Inspector for a manufacturing environment. You will oversee incoming component inspections and in-process evaluations to uphold high standards.

The role requires practical use of measuring tools and a good grasp of ISO 9001. You will document inspections, generate NCRs, and support audits while collaborating with production teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Quality Inspector or QC Technician.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications.
• Experience with measuring tools and metrology equipment.
• Solid understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; strong communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled quality evaluations on incoming components and in-process assemblies.
• Manage component release procedures and document non-conforming materials.
• Raise NCRs and work with production to resolve issues.
• Maintain inspection records, reports and logs in compliance.
• Calibrate and maintain measuring tools and testing equipment.
• Support internal and external quality audits as required.
