Job summary

Westin Par LLP in Sittingbourne is seeking a Quality Inspector to join its growing manufacturing team. You will carry out dimensional, visual and material inspections against engineering drawings and inspect incoming supplier parts using manual and digital measuring equipment.

You will investigate non-conforming parts, complete FAI data to AS9102, review inspection documents in the ERP system and support improvements to the QMS.

Qualifications

• Reading engineering drawings and interpreting tolerances.
• Using measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Understanding ISO 9001:2015 quality requirements.
• Confident communication, teamwork and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete and verify First Article Inspection (FAI) data to AS9102 requirements.

Job description

Salary: £30,000 per annum plus overtime at time and a half when available

Vacancy type: Permanent, full-time, site-based

Hours: 37 hours per week — Monday to Thursday, 08:00–16:45; Friday, 08:00–12:00

The role
