Job description

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a busy team in the Engineering industry in the Malvern area of Worcester.

Responsibilities:
  1. Approve or reject parts based on quality standards.
  2. Assist with containment activities.
  3. Follow procedures for quarantining non-conforming products.
  4. Inspect incoming goods from suppliers.
  5. Select samples and check using appropriate methods/equipment.
  6. Maintain records of testing, inspections, and metrics such as rejected parts per day.
  7. Inspect the entire production cycle for efficiency and safety compliance.
  8. Monitor equipment safety and maintenance, discarding non-compliant items.
  9. Prepare and submit reports to the Quality Manager.
Skills and Experience:
  1. Experience in a factory environment.
  2. Ability to use measurement equipment.
  3. Exposure to technical drawings (advantageous).
  4. Proficient in PC usage, especially Excel and Word.
  5. Experience in inspection within a production setting.
Working Hours:
  • Friday 07:45 - 12:45
Pay Rate:
  • Overtime available after 40 hours.
