Role: Quality Inspector - Manufacturing
Location: Dudley
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm
Salary: £30k to £35k per annum (DOE)

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector seeking a role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are recruiting a hands-on Quality Inspector to join our client in Dudley.

This role involves working closely with the Production Manager to ensure high-quality standards are met across the production line. It combines technical inspection work with data handling and administrative tasks, with a mix of office-based work and shop floor presence.

Key responsibilities:

1. Conduct product and process inspections on the shop floor to ensure quality standards are maintained.
2. Use various measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
3. Manage data using Excel and internal software systems (training provided).
4. Monitor production processes and provide feedback to the Production Manager.
5. Communicate quality issues via email and internal systems.
6. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
7. Maintain accurate inspection reports and quality records.

Suitable candidates will have:

1. Previous experience in manufacturing or a factory environment (Essential).
2. Proficiency with inspection tools and confidence working with Imperial measurements.
3. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
4. Basic proficiency with office systems, including Excel and Email.
5. Comfort with IT software systems (training provided).
6. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
