Job description

Quality Inspector

Salary dependent on experience

Location Tamworth

We are working with a recognised and renowned precision engineering group of businesses in the Tamworth area that are looking for a Quality Inspector on a permanent contract with an immediate start.

Quality Inspector responsibilities:

- Working within the AS9100, ISO9001 & ISO17025 standards.
- Programming and use of CMM (Mitutoyo software).
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and inspect to those requirements.
- Use of general measuring equipment including micrometers, surface testers and contour tracers.
- Working with First Article Reporting methods for aerospace and automotive.

Quality Inspector requirements:

- Experience of CMM programming and Gear Measuring Machine measuring, preferably in Mitutoyo.
- Knowledge of AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001: 2015 & ISO17025: 2017.
- Experience of working with Aerospace / Automotive OEMs.
- Compiling of FAIR reports for customers.
