Job description

The Quality Inspector works independently as part of the Quality team inspecting device components and finished devices. It is the responsibility of the Quality Inspector to communicate inspection results to management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain Quality and Regulatory systems in compliance with domestic medical device agency regulations and requirements.
  2. Inspect device components and finished devices according to inspection instructions and established procedures.
  3. Communicate inspection results to Quality Management, Quality Engineer, or General Manager.
  4. File and maintain Quality documents and records.
  5. Investigate customer complaints and collaborate with Quality and Management personnel to resolve issues.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma required.
  2. Ability to use hand-held inspection instruments (micrometer, calipers, etc.) required.
  3. Experience with computerized record-keeping (e.g., documents, drawings) preferred.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  5. Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
