Job summary

Staffline is seeking a Quality Inspector to join a material handling manufacturing operation in Cinderford. You will carry out in-process and final inspections of aviation refueller components and related equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

You will read engineering drawings, use precision tools (verniers, micrometers), and maintain inspection records. A strong eye for detail and adherence to regulatory requirements are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using inspection tools such as verniers and micrometers.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-process and final inspections of fabricated and manufactured components to ensure quality.
• Inspect dimensions, tolerances, and product conformity using precision measuring equipment.

Working hours: 40 Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 05:00 pm and on Fridays 8:00 to 3:30 pm

We are now seeking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join material handling manufacturing company based in Cinderford The appropriate quality inspector will be responsible for carrying out in process and final inspection of aviation refueller components and general materials handling equipment.

• Inspect dimensions, tolerances, and product conformity using a range of precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation in line with company procedures.
• Identify, investigate, and report non-conformances.
• Ensure products meet customer, company and regulatory requirements before they leave the site

Requirements

• Proven experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experienced in the use of inspection and measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
