Quality Inspector

£14-£18 per hour

Location: Woking

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a leading engineering and manufacturing organization based in Woking. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and effective in conducting final inspections of metal parts. Responsibilities include performing visual and dimensional inspections of component parts, sub-assemblies, and finished product assemblies.

A key aspect of this role is having a keen eye for detail and the ability to conduct visual inspections of electronic components. We prefer candidates with a positive attitude and experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Key Tasks:

  • Conduct independent visual and dimensional inspections of parts and assemblies
  • Perform final inspections
  • Use basic measuring tools such as tape measures, rulers, and micrometers
  • Manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain records
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with specifications and communicate findings effectively
  • Develop and establish best inspection practices and techniques as needed
  • Ensure adherence to company quality procedures, reviewed regularly with the quality manager or representative
