Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector with CMM programming experience for a precision manufacturing environment. The role focuses on rigorous inspection, reporting and collaboration with Production and Engineering to uphold customer specifications.

You will programme and operate CMM equipment and interpret GD&T, ensuring first-off, in-process and final inspections meet standards. Training and progression opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections on precision manufactured components
• Programme and operate CMM equipment to verify dimensional accuracy
• Use manual inspection equipment including micrometres, verniers and gauges
• Read and interpret drawings and GD&T
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions
• Complete inspection documentation and quality records accurately
• Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement activities
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues
• Ensure compliance with customer, industry and internal quality standards

We’re supporting a specialist manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their quality team.

What’s the role all about?

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products meet strict quality standards and customer specifications across the manufacturing process.

This is a hands-on role involving detailed inspection activities, measurement reporting and close collaboration with production and engineering teams.

A key part of this role is the ability to programme and operate CMM equipment, making previous CMM programming experience essential.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections on precision manufactured components
• Programme and operate CMM equipment to verify dimensional accuracy
• Use a range of manual inspection equipment including micrometres, verniers and gauges
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and GD&T
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions
• Complete inspection documentation and quality records accurately
• Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement activities
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues
• Ensure compliance with customer, industry and internal quality standards
