Job summary

Kingdom Services Group are recruiting a Quality Inspector to join their precision manufacturing quality team. You will carry out inspections and program CMM, ensuring dimensional accuracy.

The role requires reading engineering drawings and GD&T, and building quality records. You'll work closely with Production and Engineering, supporting continuous improvement and compliant with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Quality Inspection role in manufacturing or precision engineering.
• CMM programming experience is essential.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience using manual measuring equipment such as micrometers and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections on precision manufactured components.
• Programme and operate CMM equipment to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions.
• Complete inspection documentation and quality records accurately.
• Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement activities.
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with customer, industry and internal quality standards.

We're supporting a specialist manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their quality team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections on precision manufactured components
• Programme and operate CMM equipment to verify dimensional accuracy
• Use a range of manual inspection equipment including micrometres, verniers and gauges
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and GD&T
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions
• Complete inspection documentation and quality records accurately
• Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement activities
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues
• Ensure compliance with customer, industry and internal quality standards

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• Experience working within a Quality Inspection role in manufacturing or precision engineering
• CMM programming experience - essential
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Experience using a range of manual measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• Experience within aerospace, defence or regulated manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
