Job summary

AP Racing is offering a 13-month placement for undergraduate engineers to gain hands-on experience within a globally recognised company. Starting in July 2027, you'll work on real engineering challenges, develop industry-relevant skills, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge products.

You will support the inspector team, develop both soft and hard skills, and learn the documentation processes, inspection methods, and basic metrology used to release high-quality components.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate who has completed at least two years of study and is on track for a 2:1 or above.
• Studying Mechanical, Motorsport, Automotive, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Eager to learn new skills with strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to challenges.
• Passionate about engineering, self-motivated, and proactive in their work.
• A strong team player with effective communication skills.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK for the duration of the internship; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting AP Racing products, understanding part history and ensuring correct documentation is in place.
• Conducting visual and dimensional checks using various equipment, ensuring high-quality components are released.
