AP Racing is offering a 13‑month IT placement for an undergraduate seeking hands‑on experience within a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing company. Starting July 2027, you’ll support the technology and systems that enable our teams to design, develop and deliver cutting‑edge products.

You’ll work on real IT challenges, build industry‑relevant skills and contribute to projects that improve business operations and user support. Ideal for students in CS/IT with a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Undergrad with at least two years of study and aiming for 2:1 or above.
• Studying Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Eager to learn, with strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to challenges.
• Passionate about IT support and troubleshooting.
• A team player with effective communication skills.
• Applicants must have legal right to work in the UK for the duration; AP Racing cannot sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to users, troubleshooting hardware, software and printer issues.
• Set up and maintain IT equipment and user accounts.
• Support networks, systems and troubleshoot connection issues.
• Assist with IT projects and system improvements.
• Handle computer hardware and software systems.
• Apply networking concepts and participate in Active Directory tasks.
