Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the HPC Quality Management Team. You will help ensure that quality processes meet programme requirements and support supplier quality across multiple sites.

Travel with the supply chain will be required, and you will influence others to apply best practices while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will assist LTQR reviews and factory inspections (UK, France or worldwide) as delegated by QML, contributing to

Qualifications

Academic background in Quality Management and understanding of quality practices in large contract-led organisations.
Willingness to travel with the supply chain and collaborate with others.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the quality execution plan within the Programme and ensure quality is delivered by the supply chain.
Prepare and update the Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs).
Monitor QMLs deliverables identified in the KANBAN dashboard.
Expedite Quality Auditors to promptly resolve audit findings within the supply chain.
Support LTQR reviews and lead LTQR implementations delegated by QML.
Perform in-factory manufacturing inspections when required (UK, France or worldwide).
