Job summary

EDF in the UK seeks a Nuclear Project Quality Manager to lead quality activities for HPC/SZC projects, reporting to the Quality and Supplier Oversight department. The role will oversee CQAP, ISO certifications, and on-site quality control across London, Bristol, or Lille locations.

You will coordinate QA across engineering, procurement, and construction, ensuring compliance with ISO 19443/IAEA GS-R-3 and UK standards, with travel within the UK and France as required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• QA/QC expertise with knowledge of ISO 19443 and IAEA GS-R-3.
• Knowledge of UK nuclear quality standards (Licence Condition 17 and CDM) is advantageous.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a quality team across engineering, procurement, and on-site activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractual quality requirements are integrated into the project's Management System and followed by all personnel and suppliers.
• Establish and manage the Contract Quality Assurance Plan (CQAP) and related documentation.
• Obtain and maintain ISO certifications for the Bristol entity in line with the global QMS.
• Coordinate the quality team for engineering and procurement activities and oversee on-site installation quality.
• Implement independent quality and nuclear safety oversight via audits and site visits.
• Manage subcontracted manufacturing inspection contracts within the Quality and Supplier Oversight Dept.
• Handle non-conformities, customer claims, and drive their resolution and closure.
• Participate in supplier audits with Project Quality Engineers.
• Share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
