Job summary

Equans is seeking a Nuclear Project Quality Manager (M/F) based in London or Bristol to lead QA/QC on major UK nuclear projects. You will ensure quality integrates into the project management system and manage CQAP, audits, and supplier oversight for HPC/SZC contracts.

The role requires a Master’s in Engineering and deep knowledge of ISO 19443, IAEA GS-R-3, and UK nuclear standards. Travel within the UK and France will be required, with a strong focus on leadership and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Extensive QA/QC experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of ISO 19443 and IAEA GS-R-3.
• Familiarity with UK nuclear standards LC17 and CDM.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractual quality requirements are integrated into the project management system and followed by all personnel and subcontractors.
• Establish and maintain the Contract Quality Assurance Plan (CQAP) and related documentation.
• Coordinate the quality team for engineering and procurement activities; support on-site installation.
• Implement independent quality and nuclear safety oversight through audits and site visits.
• Manage subcontracted manufacturing inspection contracts and corrective actions.
• Participate in supplier audits and share best practices for continuous improvement.
