Job summary

Sizewell C is recruiting a Quality Engineer - Inspection to ensure compliance with quality management across inspection activities. You will work within the PDO Quality function to deploy best practices for one of the UK's largest projects.

You will support manufacturing surveillance across off-site fabrication, drive KPI development, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve delivery and governance at Sizewell C.

Qualifications

• Educated to HNC/HND in engineering/technical discipline.
• Experience in large project environments, preferably in nuclear or highly regulated industry with emphasis on quality management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing/operations environment.
• Chartered member of CQI or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the manufacturing surveillance model across equipment and components manufactured off-site.
• Perform monthly compliance checks against the Manufacturing Surveillance procedure.
• Review effectiveness and identify improvements to surveillance model.
• Develop KPIs and report trends to improve performance.
• Coordinate the monthly SZC Manufacturing Steering Committee; support audits across the organisation.
