Job summary
Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Sizewell C project and support the project Quality Team.
You will help develop inspection plans, track KPIs, support audits, and advise delivery teams on quality systems to embed continual improvement across the project. This role requires familiarity with quality standards, CQI membership, and strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
Qualifications
- Awareness and understanding of quality and/or technical standards.
- CQI Student or Affiliate Member (S/ACQI);
- Able to demonstrate initiative and resilience;
- Possesses good interpersonal, communication and good time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams in developing inspection & test plans and review supplier plans.
- Assist in reporting Quality performance relating to KPIs.
- Assist in implementing quality assurance and quality control mechanisms.
- Advise delivery teams in using digital quality systems and manage issues.
- Coordinate with others to produce and handover quality deliverables.
- Support audits and ongoing improvement within the quality team.
